Erika’s place was the highlight of our trip. It was clean and beautiful. My wife and I enjoyed eating our breakfast out on the back veranda each morning. We enjoyed Erika’s tips about the area, describing the birds in the garden, recommending the Flying Fish GastroPub restaurant and arranging our shuttle to the airport with Paddy Wildgoose. We will definitely be back!! Thank you Erika!!

For all the AirBnBs, this is one I would definitely come back to. It's a beautiful paradise. The property is a nature preserve which was a welcome surprise. The apartment was very cozy and comfortable. It had great access to a gorgeous beach. The host Erika was as pleasant and helpful as they come. Thank you very much to Ed and Erika for giving us this wonderful experience in the Bahamas!

Staying here was a wonderful experience, especially giving consideration that it was not just our honeymoon, but also our first ever Airbnb experience. There is something to be said about the proximity to the beach (max 2 minute walk), the privacy of renting a garden apartment, and accessibility to the city's main hub (The Port Lucaya Marketplace). If you are active, the accessibility of Freeport is for you - buses, bicycles, mopeds, jet ski, & ATVs (we did it all). If you love seafood you will be sure to get the right flavors at Bernie's Tiki Hut & anywhere that sell's crack lobster. If you are vegan or simply looking to watch what you eat, please support New Life in the main shopping center (next to Solomons). Our honeymoon in Freeport has opened up our minds to other Bahamian islands, and we are so happy that we spent a week here. Enjoy your stay! Gabrielle & G
